Introduction

The workshop is designed to help participants to learn and apply creative approaches to problem definition and problem solving. Participants will learn to look at problems and work related issues from a different perspective. Thinking out of the box will give them a new stimulus to facing challenges at work and provide them with the tools for finding creative solutions to problems. Participants will also be introduced to creative problem solving techniques and decision making.

About the Trainer/Workshop Leader

MR JAMES SURESH is an experienced Certified Corporate Trainer, PR Consultant as well as an Associate Lecturer for Curtin University and University of South Australia's M.A. programmes conducted in Singapore and Malaysia with more than 17 years of industry experience . He is also a Humour Writer and was one of the co-creators of local comic characters, including Mr Kiasu and Kopi Thiam. Currently, he still contributes comic strips to the press, magazines and various publications other than writing scripts for the media broadcast and develops creative concepts for advertising agencies and animation companies. As a PR practitioner, James has worked in both government and commercial organisations. He is a qualified teacher with an NIE certificate and an associate lecturer at the Marketing Institute of Singapore and The Institute of Public Relations Singapore. Previous positions held by him include Head of Publicity Section (MINDEF), Director of PR & Marketing (Comix Factory) and as an Editor/writer. He has developed training programmes and trained trainers for courses conducted by the Civil Service College and The Ministry of Education. James graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Masters in Communication Management; he has conducted seminars and workshops inSingapore and throughout Asia region including the Middle East and China.

  • Maximum of 20-25 pax is strongly suggested due to effectiveness, interactive, hands-on exercises and group discussions for a one-day workshop. More than one-day workshop can be arranged, please do not hesitate to contact us for details.

Workshop Details
  • Registration: Registration is considered confirmed and seat will be reserved upon receipt of submission of delegate/participant's details.

  • Fee: Registration Fee for seminar/workshop is in nett value which includes trainer's fee, course materials, AV & other equipments, venue and other logistics involved with the training.

  • Invoice: Invoice will be issued upon received of details and no. of participants accordingly for payment process.

  • Payment: Payment must be made before commencement of the seminar/workshop via cheque or bank transfer. Bank details will be provided upon confirmation.

  • Venue/Logistics: Hotel or Club Houses with morning & afternoon refreshments and set/buffet lunch. Complimentary car park coupons (except public carpark) based on availability at the training venue and on a first come-first serve basis as provided by venue operator. Vegetarian and No Pork/No Lard menu available upon request.

  • Training Report: Based on participants' feedbacks, report will be consolidated and submitted to Client within 30 days after the workshop.

  • Certification: Certificates of Completion & Participation will be issued to participants upon request.

  • Cancellation: Fee(s) are not refundable upon registration based on guaranteed/reserved seat(s) unless a course is cancelled by WOUTER Management Consultants Pte Ltd due to unforeseen circumstances.
